Martina Spero
Dr. Martina Špero is a neuroradiologist with a PhD in MRI diagnostics of renal cancer, currently at Affidea, and a holder of the European Diploma in Neuroradiology.
Martina Špero is a radiologist and neuroradiologist from Zagreb, Croatia. She graduated from the University of Zagreb Medical School in 1997, specialized in radiology in 2004, and completed subspecialization in neuroradiology in 2010. She received her PhD in Biomedicine and Health Sciences in 2011 and the European Diploma in Neuroradiology the same year. Since 2022, she holds the professional title of Primarius.
Dr. Špero is Secretary General of the Croatian Neuroradiological Society – Diagnostic and Interventional, national delegate to the European Society of Neuroradiology, and serves on several international committees, including the ESNR Membership Committee and the European Board of Radiology Standards Committee (2025–2026). She is co-author of two textbooks and multiple publications, and is a frequent lecturer at international congresses and Erasmus Courses.
