Alexandre Krainik

Prof. Alexandre Krainik is Chair of Neuroradiology at Grenoble University Hospital, with a research focus on brain functional imaging and extensive international contributions to the field.

Alexandre Krainik is a Professor of Radiology at Grenoble University Hospital, where he chairs the Department of Neuroradiology and the IRMaGe MRI research platform.

His research focuses on brain functional imaging and its clinical applications, including vascular steno-occlusive diseases, dementia, epilepsy, brain tumours, infections, and MS.

He has published over 130 scientific articles, given more than 120 lectures and participated in over 100 neuroradiology courses and workshops worldwide.

Prof. Krainik is a past President of the French Society of Neuroradiology and he now serves on the international affairs committee of the French Society of Radiology and the diagnostic committee of the European Society of Neuroradiology
