Suresh K. Mukherji

Suresh K. Mukherji, a renowned expert in Head & Neck and Neuroradiology. He earned his M.D. from Georgetown University, completed his radiology residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and specialized in neuroradiology at the University of Florida. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan. Dr. Mukherji served as Division Director of Neuroradiology at the University of Michigan, where he became a tenured professor. Since 2013, he has been Chair of Radiology at Michigan State University and holds the Walter F. Patenge Endowed Chair. An authority in advanced imaging techniques for head and neck cancer, he has authored over 400 scientific works, edited 13 textbooks, and delivered nearly 400 invited lectures. His research focuses on metabolic and physiologic imaging to differentiate recurrent tumors from post-treatment changes.
