Katarina Surlan Popovic, a specialist in radiology with a European diploma in neuroradiology, focuses on neuroradiology and head and neck imaging. She has been a member of the Radiology Department since 2008 and its head since 2012. She represents Slovenia on the European Research Committee of the European Society of Radiology and serves as the national delegate for the European Society of Neuroradiology (ESNR), where she is also a member of the Head and Neck Radiology Subcommittee. Since 2011, she has been the National Coordinator for Radiology Specialization at the Slovenian Medical Chamber and a member of the Research Council at UKC Slovenia. She is the president of the Neuroradiology Section of the Slovenian Radiological Society and serves on the editorial boards of Radiology and Oncology and Zdravniški vestnik.
